A Blustery Day

Winnie the Pooh: Happy "Winds-day", Piglet.
Piglet:[being blown away] Well... it isn't... very happy... f-for me.
Winnie the Pooh: Where are you going, Piglet?
Piglet: That's what I'm asking myself, where? W-Whoops! P-P-P-Pooh!
Winnie the Pooh: And what do you think you will answer yourself?

"Suffering is not holding you. You are holding suffering. When you
become good at the art of letting sufferings go, then you'll come to
realize how unnecessary it was for you to drag those burdens around with
you. You'll see that no one else other than you was responsible. The
truth is that existence wants your life to become a festival."

-Osho

I love this quote. The idea that the world, life, "existence" is geared and available to you for your own festival. That everything good is here around us, and inside. I guess Kander & Ebb were right, "life is a cabaret!"

I'm off for San Diego this weekend. It's Melanie's birthday. Everybody say "Happy Birthday Melanie!!!" You don't have to, if you don't want to. Isn't she cute though? She kinda makes you wanna!
