As you all may know that this is a dog friendly office. Which I personally love! Even when Cosmo is barking his pretentious barks. We play tug-o-war and Cosmo usually wins then he grins with his upper lip and rolls over for me to scratch his tummy. I play fetch with Nanna, and she plays keep away with me. We tend to play fetch mostly when my computer is taking it's time loading QuickBooks or I have to close something down. When Deborah leaves for lunch and leaves Ozzy, he comes and sits right next to me, and I pet his head, while I'm answering emails. When they are here I feel like my work is better, I'm not as stressed, I'm more centered and there seems to be a good aura all around.
When they are not here the day seems to drag on. It seems quieter. The sun doesn't shine. Earthquakes, tidal waves, smog, we are lost! No, maybe not that melodramatic, but I do miss them. And it seems like the office misses them too. I read a short quick article from CNN.com, about the affects of pets on human lives, I thought I'd share. It's called "The Health Benefits of Caring for a Pet" I hope you enjoy.
As for today, Ozzy and Nanna are here, and it is wonderful!
