*popping up from the bushes* I'm ok!

I think the above picture sums up my current attitude and feeling about life: I'm chillin'.

There's not been much going on, and I've been waiting to here back from the schools I applied. Today is the last day and I'm biting my nails, hope that I got in. I've already been accepted to UC Santa Cruz, and that's not such a bad place. I love it there. It's beautiful and green, and I love the social climate as well.

I've been on a few dates lately, with several beige dudes. But, nothing to really report. We went on walks in the park; dinner in North Beach; drives around the bay, and I mean around the entire bay (whew!); and, plenty of talking. You know the type of talking. "Where're you from?"; "Are you a red or blue state?"; "Doyoulike 'degs'?" "I too, like dogs."; "Do you like Target?" "Yes" "I loooove Target!" "Wow, you like it a lot."

Every body is changing. People are growing up, moving on, and/or moving out. This is good, naturally. And, I'm happy about it because I too am changing. As a good friend once said, "just tryin' to make a dolla' outta fifteen cent."
